When sudden geopolitical disruptions halted air travel, paused operations at local clinics, and temporarily suspended communications across the region, for example, our teams didn’t improvise. They implemented protocols to protect irreplaceable materials until movement resumed.
For clinics, the challenge quickly became scale without compromise. As IVF programs grew and storage networks expanded, risk management needed to expand past the cryotank and reach every link across the full chain of custody. We advanced that shift from cryomanagement to cryogovernance, embedding Chain of Compliance and ISO 21973-certified workflows and standards into every link of the supply chain, allowing clinics to demonstrate compliance with confidence. Even more importantly, patients could trust that their future was protected.
Industry trends reinforced these priorities. Demand for IVF and third-party reproduction continued to climb globally, and regulators are beginning to tighten expectations for traceability and performance, borrowing standards from human biopharma. And patients, empowered by information, demanded transparency alongside success rates. In this environment, logistics is an integral part of the care model.
